Adoption requirements:

All pets in your home must be spayed and neutered.

All pets in your home must be on heartworm prevention.

A fenced yard is required for most of our dogs.

We will contact your current or previous vet for a reference.

An in home or a virtual home tour will be completed.

PLEASE KNOW, WE ARE ALL VOLUNTEERS THAT HAVE FAMILIES, WORK FULL TIME JOBS, AND TAKE CARE OF MANY RESCUE BABIES. WE TRY TO GET BACK TO YOU WITHIN A WEEK OF THE TIME YOUR APPLICATION COMES IN. PLEASE BE PATIENT, WE WANT EACH RESCUE PUP IN A WONDERFUL HOME, WE PROCESS APPLICATIONS IN THE ORDER THEY COME IN AND GET TO EACH APPLICANT AS WE CAN.

Available pets at Gracie Acres Dog Rescue and Farm in Pelzer, SC - AdoptaPet.comI have been rescuing dogs for over 20 years. We just decided in the last year we would become a full rescue to save and adopt out dogs. We work with local shelters save dogs that go on the list to be euthanized. We also take in strays, owner surrenders, and some farm animals. We have wonderful fosters that help to care for our animals. We do all we can to save and find homes for as many pets as possible.
